General Description: Astro Bot is a small, humanoid robot with a sleek chrome body accented by white and blue plating. His design emphasizes both cuteness and functionality, combining playful proportions with futuristic details.
Facial Features: Instead of a traditional face, Astro Bot has a screen that displays a pair of expressive blue eyes. While his expressions are often limited in certain games such as Playroom VR, Astro Bot Rescue Mission, and Astro’s Playroom, the eyes still serve as his main source of personality and emotion.
Clothing/Outfit: His most notable accessory is a rectangular-shaped blue cape, adding to his hero-like design. His arms and legs are partially blue with shiny silver parts, blending a mechanical look with a sleek style.
Special Features: On his back, Astro Bot has a backpack-like attachment that contains a small fan. This feature aids him in swimming and highlights his multifunctional design.
Alternate Forms/Disguises: In Astro Bot, players can change his appearance through the Changing Room. These alternate outfits allow him to take on the look of various characters from different Playstation series, offering different themed costumes beyond his default design.

Astro's standard punch combo he uses to deal with weaker enemies and attacking weak points.
An octopus that boats Astro's body in a balloon, allowing him to fly.
Gloves that allow Astro to extend the range of his punches to reach areas he normally can't.
A bulldog on Astro's back that allows him to fly temporarily through the jet equipped on the bottom of Barkster. This allows Astro to crash through windows and objects due to the high speed he's flying at.
Similar to Barskter, though instead of propelling Astro horizontally, this one propels Astro vertically. Allowing him to defeat Venos and rolling cubes with the chains on top of them.
Astro has a robot elephant on his back that helps him vacuum up liquids and use them for platforms or for filling areas up.
An ability that allows Astro to suck up water in pools and extinguish flames. He increases in size from the amount of water he's absorbing.
A robot monkey that climbs onto Astro's back and uses its hands to help him climb up surfaces, and grab objects to throw. It can extend its arms farther then Astro can.
A robot mouse climbs onto Astro's back, allowing him to shrink to the size of a mouse.
An ability that allows Astro to turn into a ball, where he is essentially indestructible, allowing him to activate muteki springs and launch from blue volcanoes. Due to the sheer weight of this ball, he can easily crush his enemies to take out enemies he can't at all harm.
A stopwatch and a PSVR headset that gives Astro the ability to slow down time, letting him be able to platform around obstacles that are normally too fast.
Standard Tactics: Astro uses the help of the player and their own methods of attacks and equipment to deal with threats.
Weaknesses
Astro seemingly appears to be small as he is an entity within the Playstation 5 console thus making him data/byte sized[301], however this is a massive PS5 in the middle of space[302], and games such as Astro Bot showcases that the Playstation 5 is an entire spaceship instead of a regular sized Playstation 5[303] and that Astro is the same size even when outside of the Playstation 5[304]. Official sources also list him as 30 centimeters[305].
