About Us
Introduction
Welcome to The Codex Wiki! The purpose of this wiki is to index characters, weapons, items, civilizations, localizations, and many more from both fiction and the real world! We do this as a hobby. One of the most interesting parts about it is when a person shows interest in a new fictional franchise that we’ve indexed and possibly finds one of their favorite franchises they wouldn’t have found otherwise through it. This even helps give one a new perspective on a verse they’ve known before.
Before you continue on into the wiki, we suggest that you read the rest of the material on our home page. It offers context for some of our standards, offers examples of how to do things, an introduction to our staff members, etc.
The wiki is not a versus debating or powerscaling wiki. It has elements within versus threads and some of the statistics but it is overall a wiki for profiling and indexing characters. Below are some of the categories regarding our characters:

- This wiki also contains fairly violent content and swearing on certain profiles. If you find said content particularly disturbing, we’d recommend not going on those profiles. If you feel it breaches our site’s standards report the profile and we will see if it needs to be deleted.
- Help to fix grammar or page structure errors, and to reword crude language is highly appreciated as long as you aren’t trying to change a profile without permission. If you believe noticeable changes are required, you can attempt to request them on the discussion tabber of a page.
- The site is not responsible to help you if you have breached one of our rules, as we assume by default that you engaged in the responsibility of reading the terms of use correctly.

Site Rules
The following apply both to the discord itself and to the wiki itself.
- Refrain from spamming, threatening, using unironic derogatory comments of any form (ethnic, homophobic, belittling the disabled or mentally ill, etcetera), and rude, vulgar, sexist, etcetera offensive language. This will not be tolerated. The same thing applies to if you do this off-site/off discord, we do not tolerate it.
- Do not instigate drama or systematically spread toxicity, and follow the instructions in official staff warnings. This extends to starting drama due to an event you may have with another member off-site, either don't bring it here or work peacefully with them.
- Using sock-puppet handles is strongly forbidden, especially to circumvent blocks. Doing so will result in the block duration being greatly increased for all of the relevant accounts.
- Impersonating other members is not allowed.
- Accounts with offensive, misleading, or otherwise very inappropriate usernames will receive a warning to change their username, if they fail to comply they will receive an indefinite ban. The usernames in question are things that are transphobic, racist, homophobic, sexist, and more.
- Unconstructive criticism about other wikis and communities is completely forbidden. Even if the other wiki or community has shown negative talk towards us. To add on, do not go out to harass or attack anyone who disagrees with the way we handle our wiki, a general discussion/debate from disagreement is fine but direct insulting and attacking is not.
- Text or images that fall under NSFW are completely forbidden and will grant you an immediate block if they're posted. The Codex is for all ages.
- Do not link to or promote anything illegal within the Wiki or discord. Linking to scams of any sorts is obviously strongly forbidden and will lead to an immediate ban. You are not allowed to discuss or mention any kind of method or tools that can be used in any way to circumvent security of the wiki, spam the wiki or otherwise exploit the wiki. If you discover any such means or tools tell an Admin in a PM. Do NOT ever post it publicly. This also extends to promoting copies of romhacks, roms, emulation, etcetera. Profiles regarding these are allowed along with discussion of them, but distribution of them is banned.
- Death threats or suicide threats of any form, will absolutely not be tolerated. If you feel extremely depressed or suicidal, please visit the International Suicide Prevention Wiki (https://suicideprevention.fandom.com/wiki/International_Suicide_Prevention_Directory) for a directive of help numbers in different countries. If you are suffering from some type of mental illness, you might be able to find help via one of these resource pages (https://www.mentalhealthforum.net/forum/) (https://www.samhsa.gov/find-help/national-helpline) (https://www.nimh.nih.gov/health/find-help/index.shtml) (https://www.mentalhealthamerica.net/finding-help).
- Being sexually flirtatious will not be tolerated. Playing mature games, flirting, or using sexual connotations is discouraged, and in extreme cases, will result in a severe penalty.
- Posting your personal information like SN numbers, addresses, etc. is disallowed. Posting it will have it be immediately deleted. Failure to accept this will result in a ban. Do note this refers to very personal information, information in regards to the state you live in, or real name is fine to release if you're comfortable with it.
- Comments regarding religion are strictly enforced. While one can talk about their personal beliefs, one cannot insult someone for their religious beliefs. Do note if their religious beliefs were bad to begin with, they’ve already would’ve been banned from this server.
- Threads can be done through the discord or the wiki, if arguments get repetitive then it will officially be resolved by any of the other knowledgeable members. Do not get toxic during thread discussions or you will be punished.
- We have had this topic many times but we will not allow the making of pages regarding religious figures. There is no changing our minds on this.
- Admins and other staff members are NOT allowed to lend access to their accounts to other people. This only leads to confusion and suspicion. It doesn’t matter if the staff member says that he trusts the other person, the other person has not been appointed.
- Do not pester or harass the authors of various works on social media about versus debating or character statistics. They are often bombarded by numerous questions from fans, and it makes no sense to harass them just so one can get a hypothetical placement for a fictional tier. Asking them a question is fine but repeated one's to try and get a character upgraded is forbidden.
- Please do not make any attempts to actively find/stalk any of the members here on the Wiki/Discord through Twitter, Facebook, Youtube, etcetera, or harass them. This will result in an immediate ban. If you've happened to find a member or simply wanted to look at the work they do outside of the site, that is fine, but active stalking or harassment is completely forbidden.
- Off-site behavior is taken into account on the wiki. They include but are not limited to, the following:
- Threatening someone off-site, be it a threat of violence, hacking, doxxing, sexual harassment, etc.
- Harassment of users in their immediate surrounding (ex. Someone constantly messaging you with insulting comments via DMs or PMs)
- Engaging in online criminal activity (Not including piracy).
- Impersonating someone for malicious purposes.
- We expect a certain standard of behavior from our staff, both within and outside of the site itself, and involving oneself in the harassment of our user base, extreme hate speech, or advocating genuine bigotry is unacceptable conduct and may lead to demotion. We can take such action against our staff members if they clearly link their behavior outside of the site to the wiki by using the same account or linking to one platform from the other. Bureaucrats and Human Resources group members can use their discretion when dealing with borderline or uncertain cases.
- Complete plagiarism of character, weapons, items, vehicles, and verse profiles is completely disallowed. The only exceptions include using a less significant piece of the profile (the background, or explaining how attacks work), or if you already made the profile/made significant changes to the profile on another site. This will result in a warning, followed by a ban.
