~ Magnus to Alucard

Background

Magnus serves as the primary antagonist in the audio drama Castlevania: Nocturne of Recollection. An incubus by nature, he delights in tormenting innocent humans.

A year after the events of Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, Magnus devises a plan to restore Dracula's Castle, intending to make Alucard its master.

He manipulates Maria Renard, attempting to convince her of Alucard's supposed darkness while subjecting the dhampir to relentless torment. Magnus is also the one who crafted the "Dangerous Potion" that ends up in Cyril's hands.

Codex Statistics

Grade: S

Tier: At least 7-C

Cardinality: Finite

Dimensionality: 3-D

Attack Potency: At least Town level (Potency) (Magnus is comparable to 1400s Alucard, who can fight and defeat Dracula, who serves as the absolute evil, the opposite to God[11], where for God to be perfectly good, there must be a being of perfect darkness[12], being the entity opposite to God[13], with such power making him far superior to Golem from Castlevania Judgement, as he died to a random unknown hunter after his return from the time rift[14]. Golem with his ultimate can shoot out a mouth blast that vaporizes everything it touches as far as the eye can see getting these results[15])

Durability: At least Town level

Striking Strength: At least Town Class (Potency)

Lifting Strength: At least Class 10 (Should be superior to Hector's Battle-Type innocent devils who can move entire tree logs that are blocking roads out of the way[16] where logs can weigh around 15 to 5 tons[17] and Hector's battle-type innocent devils can lift open large iron doors that "no man could force open"[18])

Travel Speed: Unknown: True level

Attack Speed: At most Faster Than Light (Comparable to 1400s Alucard who can move so fast that[19] the light itself cannot keep up with them, leaving an afterimage behind[20], along with being superior to enemies such as the Sky Fish who moves so fast that it appears as a beam of light and is only slowed down when time is stopped[21] and the White Demon, who can move at the speed of light at short distances[22])

Reaction Speed: At most Faster Than Light

Stamina: Limitless (Magnus wields Dracula's power[23], where Dracula is noted to possess infinite magic[24])

Range: Standard Melee, Interdimensional with Attacks (Put Alucard into a glimpse into his past, viewing a dream of when he drank Lyudmil's blood, with him noting it was a dream world he constructed[25])

Intelligence: Supergenius Intelligence (Magnus is a master of magic, where magic requires one to have a deep understanding of Quantum Physics to utilize it to its fullest, requiring understandings of theories such as "Curse Amplification"[26])

Knowledge: Grandmaster level (Magnus was the one that gave Cyril the potion's formula to shoot out absolute zero attacks[27], which was all apart of his plan to seal away Maria's powers along with controlling Lyudmil all to force Alucard to lose his human side and become the next Dracula[28])

Powers and Techniques

Is a Creature of the Night, which gives:

Superhuman Physical Characteristics (Even the smallest creatures of the night can destroy a bridge[29], one of Dracula's bats easily destroyed a stone ground block[30]), Intimidation (Creatures of the nights appearances can cause one to have their body's cells cry out in terror[31]), Immortality (Ageless; The biggest hindrance to humans when attempting to accomplish something is their limited lifespans, a limitation that cannot be overcome, however, dwellers of the darkness do not apply to the laws of the human world, ignoring such limitations[32]. Immortal Metaphysical Aspect; Creatures of the Night can continue to exist even as a spirit and use their spirit form to form bodies out of inanimate material around them[33]), Acausality (Causality Immunity; All immortal beings disrupt the flow of time according to Aeon[34]. With their souls being completely free from time[35]. The biggest hindrance to humans when attempting to accomplish something is their limited lifespans, a limitation that cannot be overcome, however, dwellers of the darkness do not apply to the laws of the human world, ignoring such limitations[36]), Free Will (Creatures of the Night do not follow the hand of God and instead choose of their own free will[37]), Empowerment (Creatures of the night are empowered by the night[38], becoming stronger when it's night time[39]), Evolution (Creatures of chaos can inherit evil natures[40] awakening into stronger enemies with new abilities and less weaknesses[41]), Resurrection (Self-Resurrection; Creatures of chaos can be brought back to life from the power of hate[42]. This has also been shown with slain heads reviving as an angry wraith[43]), Regeneration (Mid-Godly overtime; Even the castle from Castlevania is a Creature of Chaos[44], where they are always rebirth from Chaos with each rebirth, the creatures takes a new form[45], with this state being referred to as a "regeneration cycle"[46]), Invisibility (Creatures of Chaos possess a natural aura of darkness, which makes one unable to see those with an aura of darkness by the naked eye[47]), Time Manipulation (Passive; All immortal beings disrupt the flow of time according to Aeon[48]), Darkness Manipulation & Subjective Reality (Creatures of chaos very existence causes dark powers to flow beyond the control of the Elgos' grimoires, due to them collecting documented information on Dracula and his castle. Causing their power to materialize in the real world in the form of monsters[49]. With the real world and world of grimoires being one and the same[50], compared to the like of Brauner's painting worlds that are quantum multi-layered spaces requiring understandings of theories such as "Curse Amplification"[51]), Text Manipulation & Plot Manipulation (Passive; Creatures of the night's dark powers allowed them to rewrite the Grimoires to strengthen their dark powers greatly[52]. It is noted by Lucy that the "vital soul" of a monster is the cause of the grimoire chaos[53]. Their vital souls are causing the grimoires contents to be overwritten changing history to things such as Jonathan Morris is now at a disadvantage in battle[54], or Charlotte fading from existence due to them messing with the history of the Grimoires[55], Maria starting to fade because Richter's history is being rewritten[56], where if the contents of the book change the creatures magic will keep growing and eventually overflow into reality, causing the grimoire to fall into chaos and even more monsters materializing into the real world[57]. The text alterations also make the monsters stronger[58]. With the real world and world of grimoires being one and the same[59], compared to the like of Brauner's painting worlds that are quantum multi-layered spaces requiring understandings of theories such as "Curse Amplification"[60]), Law Manipulation (Creatures of Chaos can alter grimoires, which do not adhere to the laws of reality[61]), Power Modification (Creatures of the night alterations of the Grimoire can greatly limit the powers of those far stronger than them, such as Jonathan Morris' power being limited due to the alterations[62]. The Chaos of the Grimoire destabilized the magic of the others[63]).

Resistance to Ice Manipulation & Absolute Zero (All enemies in Castlevania III: Dracula's curse can eventually break out of being frozen from Sypha's ice magic[64]. Along with this to protect against ice attacks in series, one normally wears rings that help them resist against absolute zero[65]), Time Manipulation (All immortal beings disrupt the flow of time according to Aeon[66], with their souls being completely free from time[67]. With time in Castlevania being so potent that not even eternity can withstand time[68], along with even artificial life being subject to the laws of time[69]. Some creatures of chaos are immune to time stop, normally being boss-level creatures[70]), Fate Manipulation (All immortal beings disrupt the flow of time according to Aeon[71], with their souls being completely free from time[72], with fate being a truth wound by time[73])

Natural Weaponry (Magnus has claws and sharp teeth allowing him to deal deadly attacks[78]), Flight (Magnus as an incubus has black wings, allowing him to fly[79]), Extrasensory Perception ((The magic from the potion is Magnus' magic[80], where Cyril can see it change colors to indicate a creature of the night is in the area[81]), Energy Absorption (Magnus can get hearts out of objects and enemies, where hearts are a measure of one's stored energy, thus one is absorbing energy when gaining hearts[82]), Dimensional Travel (Magnus as an incubus is able to travel into and invade dreams[83]), Power Nullification (The magic from the potion is Magnus' magic[84], which covered Maria and removed her ability to summon the celestial beasts[85]), Sleep Manipulation (The magic from the potion is Magnus' magic[86], which covered Maria and put her in a coma for over two days[87]), Illusion Manipulation (Standard Illusion; Put Maria in an illusion where she saw a vision of a woman being bit by Alucard[88]), Mind Manipulation (Stated by Alucard that Magnus can mesmerize someone and trap them in eternal darkness[89]), Dream Manipulation (Put Alucard into a glimpse into his past, viewing a dream of when he drank Lyudmil's blood, with him noting it was a dream he constructed[90]), Soul Manipulation (Magnus uses his claws to induce spiritual attacks[91])

Magnus wields Dracula's power[92], which would give him the abilities of Dracula's magic and that of the Castle, as the castle is directly steered by Dracula's power[93], this gives him:
As Mathias absorbed Walter's soul to become Dracula[94], he has:

Escape Prevention (Upon entering the forest Leon, Rinaldo noted that Walter made it so Leon could not leave[95]), Darkness Manipulation (Due to the Ebony Stone[96], his demonic power allows him to make it eternally night in the forest under his control[97]), Energy Absorption (Walter can get hearts out of objects and enemies, where hearts are a measure of one's stored energy, thus one is absorbing energy when gaining hearts[98]), Domination (Walter has demons under his control[99]), Sealing (Walter sealed away the Forgotten One due to an enormous uncontrollable power it had[100]), Blessed (Noted that Walter is beloved by the eternal night[101]), Teleportation (Teleported Sara to his side[102]), Electricity Manipulation (Walter uses electricity to appear before Leon[103]), Telekinesis (Telekinetically returned Sara to Leon[104]), Sleep Manipulation (Walter can put one to sleep[105]), Invulnerability (Metaphysical Invulnerability) & Forcefield Manipulation (Passive; Walter is completely immune to attacks from Leon[106]), Light Manipulation & Teleportation (Can create pillars of light that he teleports around[107]), Energy Projection (Can shoot out energy projectiles[108]), Homing Attack (Walter can shoot out energy projectiles that home in on the target[109]), Explosion Manipulation (Can shoot out orbs that explode on impact[110]. With Demonic Megiddo, can release a massive blast of energy that explodes outwards[111]), Transformation (Transformative Arsenal; When using Demonic Megiddo, Water transforms into his stronger demon form[112]), Fire Manipulation (Conjures multiple pillars of fire underneath the target[113])

Superhuman Physical Characteristics (Noted that Dracula's strength exceeds even that of a werewolf[114]), Human Achievements (When disguising himself as Malus, he could masterfully play the violin[115]), Weapon Mastery (Bow & Arrow Mastery; Dracula in his Malus form wields a bow and arrow that he can shoot deftly[116]), Animal Taming (Dracula can tame bicorns[117]), Intimidation (Put fear into Isaac who felt he spoke out of line from just a glance[118]. Dracula is noted to be the most terrifying creature in existence[119]), Large Size in some of his true forms (Supersized; Appeared this large when unleashing his true form against Reinhardt Schneider/Carrie Fernandez[120]), Aura (Dracula merely pushing out his aura was enough to make Richter and Maria flinch[121]. Dracula's evil aura is far greater then the fake Dracula he sent to fight Reinhardt and Carrie[122]. Dark Lord Soma has a thick darkness and suffocating evil due to having Dracula's aura[123]. Dracula has a natural aura of Darkness around him[124]), Immortality (Ageless; Mathias through absorbing Walter's soul denied God's decree of limited life and lives for eternity[125]. Life and Death Immunity; Death serves Dracula with unfailing loyalty[126], where Death is noted to govern the fate of death[127], being noted to have the power to govern the end of all living things[128], and can use his scythes to kill abstractions such as distance and sound[129]. Death decides who lives and who dies[130]), Reincarnation (Non-Cycle, Memory Remembrance; Despite being[131] killed for good by[132] Julius Belmont, Dracula's soul reincarnated into Soma Cruz[133]), Regeneration (At least Low-Godly normally; Freely burned away his body to fly out with his soul to create a new form[134]. Can regenerate from just his blood[135]. Regenerated back a new body from just his head[136]. His Wraith Spawn while heavily weakened regenerated from his entire body being destroyed[137]. Mid-Godly with Regeneration Cycle; Dracula has a regeneration cycle that allows him to come back as long as chaos exist within humans[138], only being ended by sealing his castle within a solar eclipse[139]), Reliance (On Humanity's Evil; Dracula will keep coming back to life due to the evil minds of human beings[140]. It is noted that Dracula's resurrection is not fueled by his own magic but through the lust for power, jealousy of others, belief in evil, the human emotions that fuel his resurrection[141]), Supernatural Resilience (Can live as just a head, using his head to form an amalgamation of five demonic faces with an exposed brain[142]), Supernatural Luck (Dracula's mere eye grants one a boost of luck[143]), Extrasensory Perception (Dracula's eyeball can see invisible objects[144]. Dracula's eyeball can see something that has been cursed away from sight. Dracula could sense the connection between Annette and the Belmont family[145]. Can see the Bitterfly, a mutated insect, visible only to magicians[146]. Soma Cruz upon awakening to becoming Dracula could sense where Alucard was[147]), Transformation (Shapeshifting; Dracula can transform into different manners of beast and alike, during his fight with Simon Belmont he turned into a large white creature[148]. Appeared before Simon Belmont as a flock of bats[149]. Mathias can transform into a bat[150]. Can transform into a werewolf[151]. Dracula used what remained of his magical powers to transform his body into mist after Christopher defeated him[152]. Can turn into a beast that moves so fast it catches on fire[153]. Body Morphing; Can morph his body to sprouted wings, allowing him to fly with that, asides from his occassional levitation[154]. Has done this against Richter/Maria to unleash his full power[155]), Flight (Dracula can fly in a manner of different ways he can either call upon the Power of Darkness[156], giving him a form with massive wings[157], transform into a bat[158], naturally levitate[159]), Afterimage Creation (Moves so fast he leaves afterimages behind[160]), Intangibility (Phasing; Upon appearing in his fight against Simon Belmont, his head phased through the floor and then the rest of his body appeared[161]), Empowerment (Made a pact with an Evil God, allowing him to call upon its power to help him[162]), Resurrection (Self-Resurrection; It is noted by the Elgos, a group that fully documents all of history within the Grimoires, that Dracula normally can only be resurrected once every 100 years without the influence of human emotions causing irregularities[163]. Through this end he can gather the magic needed to revive through negative human emotions[164]. Repeated Resurrection, Resurrection of the Deceased; Through absorbing human blood, even on his corpse, he can come back to life[165]. The battle between Desmond Belmont and Rohan Krause was enough to revive Dracula[166]. Dracula has also shown to be able to resurrect from merely a single drop of blood hitting his body[167]. Resurrection of Multiple Targets, Resurrection of the Deceased; Dracula revived dark gods with his powers[168]), Reality Warping (Passive; Merely through transforming Dracula warped the very background of his castle[169]. Caused the entire background to become warped ad distorted[170]. Against John Morris/Eric Lecarde, completely warped the background once entering his true form[171]), Teleportation & Light Manipulation (In his fight against Simon Belmont, he freely teleported around in his first form[172]. Brings down pillars of light that he uses to teleport around[173]. Causes a beam of light to appear that he can teleport around with[174]. Dracula's death causes the light beam to come across the entire castle and teleport it away[175]. He can use his light pillar teleportation technique as a means to trick his opponent by creating several, with him only appearing out of one[176]. Teleported to Shaft after sensing a connection Anette had with the Belmont family[177]), Duplication (Can create four giant heads of his to attack with[178]. Dracula can make a figment of his magic that is a re-enactment of memories stored within his powers[179]), Empowerment (Dracula can[180] call upon[181] the Power of[182] Darkness to gain[183] a new form that[184] greatly upgrades all of his statistics[185]), Weapon Creation & Weapon Control (Dracula can create knives that he can freely control to throw at Simon[186]), Non-Standard Interaction (Dark Matter Interaction; Dracula has objects such as dark matter in his castle meaning he can interact with them, which barely interacts with ordinary matter[187]), Possession (Can put his soul within a painting and bring it to life to use as an attack[188]. Dracula can possess Devil Forgemasters to bring himself back to life, such as when he possessed Isaac to resurrect himself[189]. Dracula's remains created a second spirit within Maxim that possessed him[190] leaving Maxim's body and possessing Dracula's remains[191] spawning way to Dracula's Wraith[192]. Merely absorbing Dracula's magic corrupts one and turns them into another Dracula[193]), Statistics Amplification (Dracula's strength increases each time he revives[194]. Every 100 years[195] Dracula gets[196] stronger and stronger[197]. Noted by Richter to get stronger every reincarnation[198]), Statistics Boost (The more Dracula's hatred increases, the more the power of Chaos empowers him[199]), Statistics Reduction (It's noted that every 100 years[200] the forces of Good mysteriously become weak and the forces of Evil gain a foothold into the world[201]. One that wears Dracula's clothes will have their luck reduced[202], however it is noted by Simon that Dracula grows stronger ecah time he revives), Telekinesis (Was telekinetically lifting Simon's wife into the air with the affect breaking once he died[203]. Could telekinetically lift the blocks around in his boss fight[204]), Battlefield Removal (Forced Teleportation; Can teleport other targets, such as teleporting Simon's wife to his arms[205]. Forcibly teleported him and Reinhardt Schneider/Carrie Fernandez to a different realm when unleashing his true form[206]. Forcibly teleported him and Cornell upon transforming into his true form[207]. Application Based; Upon transforming he caused him and Richter/Maria to be put into a new realm[208]), Breath Attack (Can shoot out attacks and projectiles from his mouth[209]. Can shoot fireballs out of his breath[210]. Can shoot fire out of his mouth[211]. Shoots out gylphs from his mouth[212]. Shot a giant energy ball from his mouth in his true form[213]), Energy Projection (Can shoot out eye lasers[214]. Can shoot energy beams out of his eyes and hands[215]. Can shoot energy projectiles out into 4 directions diagonally[216]. Created energy orbs around him that he can shoot outwards to attack[217]. Can shoot energy projectiles from the sky that split and attack anything on the ground[218]. Can shoot out energy projectiles that split into 3 projectiles that attack in the air[219]. Can shoot out three energy projectiles that expand[220]. Can shoot out a laser attack that travels across the ground and expand outwards[221]), Curtain Fire (Directional; Creates an energy ball that fires multiple small energy bullets in a 360 degree area[222]. Multi-Directional; Causes an entire blood rain to fall, with over hundreds of droplets, where if even one hits, it will deal damage[223]), Homing Attack (Can shoot out several energy projectiles that home in on the target[224]), Shockwave Generation (Upon resurrecting, unleashed a massive shockwave that pushed all of the cult members back[225]. Unleashed a massive shockwave in his true form[226]), Power Bestowal (Dracula’s Nail grants the ability to break things one otherwise couldn’t[227], along with increase one's strength[228]. Dracula's mere fang can increase one's defenses[229]. Dracula's presence greatly powers the creatures of the night, making them stronger as time goes on[230]. Noted that Dracula can grant humans immortality, with The Order attempting to resurrect Dracula in order to receive greater power and eternal life[231]. Even while sealed and deceased, Dracula's darkness alone covered Barlowe, having his strength return to him and giving him the power to destroy his seal[232]), Fusionism (Dracula was able to fuse the abilities of a bat with those a human[233], in an alternate timeline), Creation (Dracula's evil and magic is the reason why devil forging exists, which has one create a devil[234]. Through merely the use of his remains and using Maxim's will a castle similar to Castlevania was created[235]), Corruption (Dracula used his last bit of magic to turn Soleil Belmont into a terrible demon[236]), Attack Reflection (Passive; Dracula's mere rib bone reflects all projectiles back[237]), Nullification (Passive {For all of them}, Curse Nullification; Dracula's mere eye has the power to negate curses[238]. Petrification Nullification; His mere heart has the power to negate petrification[239]. Poison Negation; His mere rib has the power to negate poison[240]. Sealing Nullification; The power of Dominus can completely rid seals[241]. Easily broke a seal placed by the man-beast on a creature[242]), Transmutation (Noted by Dracula that if Hector has betrayed him he would use his magic to transform him into an especially hideous demon where he shall crawl on the ground and drink sewage as a hideous monster[243]), Summoning (Dracula can summon enemies to fight for him[244]. Maxim corrupted by the spirit of Dracula's remains was able to summon a boss to fight Juste[245]), Invisibility (Dracula possesses a natural aura of darkness, which makes one unable to see those with an aura of darkness by the naked eye[246]), Immersion (It is either through Death's help or Dracula's magic that Soma is able to enter the grimoires, [247], which Lucy notes to be impossible with her being the only one able to send people into grimoires[248]), Absorption (Dracula can absorb any darkness based attack[249]), Lifeforce Absorption (Dracula can bite his enemies and drain their lifeforce to heal himself[250]), Soul Absorption (Dracula is able to absorb Death's soul, and by proxy the soul of others[251]), Power Mimicry (One of the Dark Lord candidates that inherit his dark powers[252], Dmitri Blinov, can perfectly copy techniques after just being hit by them[253], copied the Power of Dominance from Soma Cruz through touching his soul and copying his ability[254]), Information Analysis (One of the Dark Lord candidates that inherit his dark powers[255], Dmitri Blinov, who scanned the the memories of Soma's past lives[256]), Subjective Reality (Noted by Maxim that the Castle was forged from the fabric of his mind, bringing what was in Maxim's mind into reality[257]), Erasure (Metaphysical Erasure; Dracula's magic can overpower and erase one's will and spirit, with Albus only surviving due to gaining the blood of the Belmont clan[258]), Regeneration Negation (Atemporal), Immortality Negation (Life and Death Immunity), & Irreversible Damage (Through Dracula absorbing Death's soul Death was also destroyed along with Dracula[259], even though Death appearing in the books is through nothing more than him possessing his image written in the text[260], where he can reform himself endlessly and no damage actually mattered to him[261]), Hellfire Manipulation (Dracula's fire attacks are all hellfire, as even Desmond using fire attacks channeled from him are describe as such[262]. Can shoot out 3 fire projectiles at once from his cape[263]. Can shoot out green fireballs everytime he jumps[264]. Can create two pillars of fire to trap a target and then hit them with a pillar of fire in the middle, sometimes being impossible to dodge depending on the position the person in[265]. Can shoot out large fireballs from his cape[266]. Causes pillars of pinkish fire to rise up[267]. Can create an entire tornado of hellfire[268]. Can burn his body to the point of nothing remaining but his soul[269]. Caused all of the candles in the background to light up and blind the entire room before he appeared[270]. Can set fire enemies that track onto a target[271]. Can conjure fire from glyphs that drop down and spread outwards[272]. One of the Dark Lord candidates that inherit his dark powers[273], Dario Bossi, has the ability to create fires, being implicated in countless inexplicable fires[274], and burned an entire room[275]. Can create spheres of blood from his attacks[285]. Causes an entire blood rain to fall, with over hundreds of droplets, where if even one hits, it will deal damage[286]), Soul Manipulation (Dracula can use soul steal, to steal one's soul, absorbing their entire existence within him[287]. Can disconnect his soul from his body[288]. God is unable to help the souls of those terminated by Dracula's hand[289]), Animal Manipulation (Can shoot bats out of his mouth[290]. Can shoot out three bats to attack[291]. Sends out bats to attack for him[292]), Mind Manipulation (Dracula put Soleil Belmont under his vampire spell[293]. The suppressed desires of Maxim Kischine caused another spirit to be created due to him holding the remains of Dracula[294]. Dracula's remains alone are enough to consume their mind, even being noted by Barlowe that dominus devours the mind[295]. Not even the sacred blood of the Belmont Clan was enough to keep Albus from subcumming to the effects of the Dominus[296]), Memory Manipulation (Accepting the Dominus interferes with one's memories and emotions[297]. Dominus was the source that took Shanoa's memories[298]. Dracula's magic showed Hector visions of his past with a form of his child self trying to convince him to become a devil and promising to be friends if he does so[299]), Empathic Manipulation (Accepting the Dominus interferes with one's memories and emotions, stripping Shanoa of all of her emotions to the point that she could not shed a tear for Albus despite everything he did for her[300]), Fear Manipulation (Dracula's mere rib bone is enough to make[301] an ordinary hero feel like a spineless coward[302]), Death Manipulation (Metaphysical; One attempting to use the Dominus will cost them their life, Shanoa using it nearly killed her only being saved by Albus taking her place and having his soul fade away[303]), Weather Manipulation & Electricity Manipulation (Caused dark clouds to appear and came from a bolt of lightning[304]. Cause massive electricity around the area before appearing[305]. Causes multiple lightning bolts to rain down as he appears[306]. Sent down electricity attacks against Desmond[307]. Sent out a massive electricity wave[308]. Creates massive electricity orbs from his gylphs[309]. Summoned electricity from his hand that went across a small area[310]. Electricity formed around him while he transformed into his adult state[311]. Easily pushed Cornell back with the electricity field around him[312]), Curse Manipulation (Dracula placed a curse on[313] Simon after Simon defeated him, one that could only be undone[314] by finding the five body parts of Dracula, resurrecting him and then defeating him[315], though if Simon takes too long he will die from the curse regardless of killing Dracula[316]. The Curse also weakened Simon to where he was starting off with a leather whip, which is a weaker form the whip takes for inexperienced users[317]. After being defeated by Trevor and his friends, Dracula left a demonic curse that enshrouded all of Europe in misery and torment[318], this curse keeps festering even if Dracula dies, where Hector needed to put all of his life-force and energy into dispelling the curse, greatly tiring him to the point that he was ready to die in the collapse of the Castle if Julia did not come rescue him[319]. Along with this, even with the curse being removed, the curse was far too deep within people, making its mark hard to leave them, with some characters having it where only death could erase the curse[320]), Disease Manipulation (The demonic curse caused a hideous plague and dire famine[321]), Morality Manipulation (The demonic curse had people's hearts turn black and murderous, where the weak were slain without pity[322]. The curse gave Hector an immense thirst for vegeance, attempting to make him kill Isaac so that he could possess his body[323]. Dracula can cloud one's senses in darkness, having the evil eat away at their souls[324]), Madness Manipulation (Barlowe was driven made by the power of Dominus, making him willing to give his life to resurrect Dracula[325]. Those that had evil eat away at their souls were driven to madness, having them make a pact with the devil[326]. Brauner using Dracula's power was noted by Charlotte that just the sight of him could drive an ordinary person mad[327]), Glyph Manipulation (Conjures gylphs across the ground that create explosions[328]. The gylphs also summon enemies to attack[329]), Explosion Manipulation (Creates massive explosions from his glyphs[330]. Can shoot out explosive projectiles from his lower mouth[331]), Bone Manipulation (Throws out bones to attack with in his true form during his fight against John Morris/Eric Lecarde[332]), Water Manipulation (Creates giant water bubbles that attack the target[333]), Hell Manipulation (Passive; Dracula's existence is the reason why evil around the land is called, with him being defeated, the evil vanishes[334]), Time Manipulation (Passive; Dracula's existence and magic was destabilizing the flow of time[335]. Shanoa with the dominus is using a power of Dracula's[336], where Aeon notes that power is governed by time[337]. With time in Castlevania being so potent that not even eternity can withstand time[338], along with even artificial life being subject to the laws of time[339]), Text Manipulation & Plot Manipulation (Passive; Vital Souls are all just a part of Dracula's powers[340], where is noted by Lucy that the "vital soul" of a monster is the cause of the grimoire chaos[341] where creatures of the night's dark powers allowed them to rewrite the Grimoires to strengthen their dark powers greatly[342], along with their vital souls causing the grimoires contents to be overwritten changing history to things such as Jonathan Morris is now at a disadvantage in battle[343], or Charlotte fading from existence due to them messing with the history of the Grimoires[344], Maria starting to fade because Richter's history is being rewritten[345], where if the contents of the book change the creatures magic will keep growing and eventually overflow into reality, causing the grimoire to fall into chaos and even more monsters materializing into the real world[346]. The text alterations also make the monsters stronger[347]. With the real world and world of grimoires being one and the same[348], compared to the like of Brauner's painting worlds that are quantum multi-layered spaces requiring understandings of theories such as "Curse Amplification"[349]. Death was going to use Dracula's magic to rewrite Dracula's defeat to Trevor making it where Dracula defeats Trevor Belmont instead where Dracula would go on living in the rewritten grimoire with each grimoire being its own world and the grimoires influence extends into reality[350]), Law Manipulation (Vital Souls are all just a part of Dracula's powers[351], which alter grimoires, which do not adhere to the laws of reality[352]), Power Modification (Vital Souls are all just a part of Dracula's powers[353], which the vital souls cause alterations of the Grimoire that can greatly limit the powers of those far stronger than them, such as Jonathan Morris' power being limited due to the alterations[354]. Even while greatly weakened, when the Aurora was used on Dracula, he greatly resisted it, requiring two master magicians to affect him[368]. Dracula's power is so great that very few magical items can truly hold his magic within a seal, requiring the usage of an entire library worth of grimoires in order to truly seal away just his magic alone[369]. The only reason Brauner was able to seal away Dracula was due to him not reviving completely otherwise his seals would be easily broken by Dracula's power[370]), Fire Manipulation (Dracula is naturally strongly resistant to fire based attacks[371]), Electricity Manipulation (Dracula is naturally strongly resistant to thunder based attacks[372]), Poison Manipulation (Dracula is naturally immune to poison based attacks[373]), Spatial Manipulation (Brauner using Dracula's power spatially segregated Dracula from the castle[374]), Power Modification, Information Manipulation, Text Manipulation & Plot Manipulation (Dracula's magic and powers have no limits posed on it from the grimoires where heroes summoned from the catalogue are unable to stray too far from its contents and have limited actions they can do having summoned heroes have their powers greatly limited from their true strength[375]), Fate Manipulation & Death Manipulation (Death serves Dracula with unfailing loyalty[376], where Death is noted to govern the fate of death[377], being noted to have the power to govern the end of all living things[378], and can use his scythes to kill abstractions such as distance and sound[379]. Death decides who lives and who dies[380]), Immortality Negation (The Vampire Killer is unable to strip Dracula of his immortality whereas the Vampire Killer can render immortal skeleton death gods like Death, mortal, having him bleed from attacks, giving him mortality as shown when Death dies to his own scythe cutting off his head and having blood spurt out, something not possible as a skeleton[381], and can kill Death to the point that he requires Mathias to survive in order for him to rise from the dead[382])

The Castle can also do this without mirror worlds[406], where they make a perfect copy that have all of their moves and sub-weapons, and can freely switch to a different person to copy their abilities[407]), Teleportation (The castle has access to the teleporter seat, the seat of a device that allows instant movement across Valachia[408]. The Castle corrupts the minds of those who enter it, such as making Maxim Kischine feel strange ever since coming to it[418]. It also corrupted the mind of Hugh turning him against Nathan with Nathan noting he's being controlled by Dracula[419]. The castle increases one's dark desires, allowing Dracula to easily control them[420]. Michelle even being at the entrance to the castle had her body telling her to not go in and her leg muscles being petrified like stone[429]), Perception Manipulation (The Castle is able to warp the users perceptions, making a room where it is split into three parts that do not operate under standard spatiality and directionality[430]), Poison Manipulation (The very waters of the castle are poisonous, killing one in an instant if they fall into it[431]), Gravity Manipulation (The castle has rooms with reverse gravity[432]), Curse Manipulation (The Curse status that spirits inflict[433] comes from them absorbing the magic power around the castle. Several hundred years have passed with battles with the [dark lord] Dracula.
When suddenly, an end to it all has been foretold. 1999----- Thanks to the power of a clan in Japan, Dracula’s castle was sealed inside a [solar eclipse] to disappear forever.
However, in this world, there is no such thing as forever. [They] had understood that Dracula’s regeneration cycle ought to have ended. Indeed, people have prepared for this but will it still exist? The castle is the symbol of the chaos within humans and as long as people exist, it will not be completely sealed.

  129. Akumajo Dracula: Kabuchi no Tsuisoukyoku Novel “I had said it before. I do not intend to bind the world with chaos.”
“…… If so, why did you take power away from the crack in the eclipse’s seal? If you just intend to imitate like a monkey, isn’t your own power enough?”
Those were the emotionless words of Death.
In response, Olrox laughed his bold answer.
“As I’ve said, I would equally gain control over the human world and the source of Dracula’s power, chaos. I do not intend to obey someone else’s mind aside from my own. That includes you who were born out of chaos.”
    “……”
“You should be glad though to know yourself. Just by stealing power, my shameful monotonous time is over…… Even before Alucard appeared, just because I showed up and declared war on him.”
Olrox’s voice was mixed with a tinge of thin delight. He respectfully bowed to Death who completely killed his emotions.
“I would end the reincarnation cycle of this demon castle. I who understood and was spun out of the stains of chaos, swear to rob that power with my hands. Now, yield.”
With Death’s reply, an explosive murderous intent rose.
Two bronze colored scythes much larger than usual appeared; it advanced to the space in between the two men with an intention to cut off Olrox’s head.
    Kill the distance-----
    Kill the sound-----
    Just, faster, soon, die.
It can be seen that the blades have certainly caught Olrox’s neck, but----- that is only an after image and the vampire is already at Death’s back.
    “……die.”
That was said by the enemy who called on his servants.
From the surrounding space, a group of purple bats rose, passed by Olrox’s arm with the speed of a bullet, attacking Death. However, Death did not show any gesture of avoiding them. He simply faced Olrox and sprayed out numerous scythes.
The bats and scythes cancelled each other out and the entire dance hall sparkled with blood."

There was definitely no room for doubt. It is certain that the [castle] exists at the back of the mountains. The church’s greatest vampire hunter, Julius Belmont must be contacted. However, the conversation jumped into the matter of the disappearance of several village children."

That really is no doubt an obsession.
The youth had more than 28 holes penetrating his limbs and body. His heart is already starting to fail and he is desperately trying to say something amidst the darkness.
    “Only…… protect…… you……-----“
When he said those words he must say, the man’s soul already left his body-----becoming one of the floating spirits that wander the halls of the castle.
    However-----
    Fate did not allow it.
For those people who are involved with the demon castle, even the loneliness of death seemed half hearted-----
The man’s soul is pierced by a small scythe that flew in from somewhere. That scythe did not exist physically. It was a diabolic blade created by some magic and possessed a strong soul."
