~ Dracula Wraith to Juste Belmont

Background

The Dracula Wraith was an evil spirit spawned from Count Dracula’s remains in conjunction with Maxim Kischine’s mind. This evil spirit, having been born from Dracula’s remains, takes on Dracula’s form and possesses a small bit of the Dark Lord’s intelligence.

After the Dracula Wraith was created from contact between Maxim and the Dracula remains, it went on to house itself within Maxim’s mind and take control of him, developing a persona within him that came to be known as Dark Maxim. With Dracula’s Wraith risen, Dracula’s Castle rose with him; furthermore, Maxim’s split personalities spawned a parallel dimension, a complete copy of the castle, known as Castle B.

Now as Dark Maxim, the Dracula Wraith headed back to Maxim’s hometown and kidnapped Maxim’s childhood friend, Lydie Erlanger. He then took her to the castle, which he did to draw out Maxim’s friend, Juste Belmont. As expected, Juste entered the castle immediately and searched for Lydie.

Eventually as Juste was through with traversing both Castle A and Castle B, he reached the room where Lydie was being held. The Dracula Wraith revealed himself within Maxim, and was finally forced out of his body by Maxim’s willpower. Realizing that he needs blood to achieve his completed form, the Dracula Wraith attacked Juste Belmont.

Unfortunately for it, the Dracula Wraith was completely destroyed and wiped from existence by Juste Belmont. Fully completed, the Dracula Wraith stated that the Belmont Clan would be cursed to fight for eternity, and then it was gone. The real Count Dracula would then be resurrected nearly 44 years later.

Vampires can move so fast that the light itself cannot keep up with them, leaving an afterimage behind[30], along with Belmonts such as Juste Belmont, moving so fast that the light afterimage behind him cannot keep up[31]. Attack Speed: At most Faster Than Light. Far Higher with Empowerment

Reaction Speed: At most Faster Than Light. Far Higher with Empowerment

Stamina: Limitless (Absorbed Dracula's remains into him[33], where the source of Dracula's power comes from the chaos that exists in the center of Dracula's castle, a product of wicked human intentions and hearts that seek destruction[34], with the castle itself being a spiritual world existing as a product of Dracula's magic where a stream of chaos exists within it[35], this stream of chaos being the entire chaotic ream[36])

The castle has magic energies that seal the gateway to hell[46])

Intelligence: Supergenius Intelligence (Absorbed Dracula's remains into him[47], where Mathias is the only person who truly understands alchemy, having studied and being a lead component in the secret arts of alchemy, a science that experiments with the arcane[48], and experiments with the principles of God's creation of the world[49], along with being said to be as great a task as recreating God's creation of the Earth[50]. Mathias' learning made him an exception to a largely illiterate society[56])

Powers and Techniques

Is a Creature of the Night, which gives:

Superhuman Physical Characteristics (Even the smallest creatures of the night can destroy a bridge[57], one of Dracula's bats easily destroyed a stone ground block[58]), Intimidation (Creatures of the nights appearances can cause one to have their body's cells cry out in terror[59]), Immortality (Ageless; The biggest hindrance to humans when attempting to accomplish something is their limited lifespans, a limitation that cannot be overcome, however, dwellers of the darkness do not apply to the laws of the human world, ignoring such limitations[60]. Immortal Metaphysical Aspect; Creatures of the Night can continue to exist even as a spirit and use their spirit form to form bodies out of inanimate material around them[61]), Acausality (Causality Immunity; All immortal beings disrupt the flow of time according to Aeon[62], along with ignoring the very passage of time[63]. With their souls being completely free from time[64]. The biggest hindrance to humans when attempting to accomplish something is their limited lifespans, a limitation that cannot be overcome, however, dwellers of the darkness do not apply to the laws of the human world, ignoring such limitations[65]), Free Will (Creatures of the Night do not follow the hand of God and instead choose of their own free will[66]), Empowerment (Creatures of the night are empowered by the night[67], becoming stronger when it's night time[68]), Evolution (Creatures of chaos can inherit evil natures[69] awakening into stronger enemies with new abilities and less weaknesses[70]), Resurrection (Self-Resurrection; Creatures of chaos can be brought back to life from the power of hate[71]. This has also been shown with slain heads reviving as an angry wraith[72]), Regeneration (Mid-Godly overtime; Even the castle from Castlevania is a Creature of Chaos[73], where they are always rebirth from Chaos with each rebirth, the creatures takes a new form[74], with this state being referred to as a "regeneration cycle"[75]), Invisibility (Creatures of Chaos possess a natural aura of darkness, which makes one unable to see those with an aura of darkness by the naked eye[76]), Time Manipulation (1-T, Passive; All immortal beings disrupt the flow of time according to Aeon[77]), Darkness Manipulation & Subjective Reality (Creatures of chaos very existence causes dark powers to flow beyond the control of the Elgos' grimoires, due to them collecting documented information on Dracula and his castle. Causing their power to materialize in the real world in the form of monsters[78]. With the real world and world of grimoires being considered the same or "equal"[79], compared to the like of Brauner's painting worlds that are quantum multi-layered spaces requiring understandings of theories such as "Curse Amplification"[80]), Text Manipulation & Plot Manipulation (Passive; Creatures of the night's dark powers allowed them to rewrite the Grimoires to strengthen their dark powers greatly[81]. It is noted by Lucy that the "vital soul" of a monster is the cause of the grimoire chaos[82]. Their vital souls are causing the grimoires contents to be overwritten changing history to things such as Jonathan Morris is now at a disadvantage in battle[83], or Charlotte fading from existence due to them messing with the history of the Grimoires[84], Maria starting to fade because Richter's history is being rewritten[85], where if the contents of the book change the creatures magic will keep growing and eventually overflow into reality, causing the grimoire to fall into chaos and even more monsters materializing into the real world[86]. The text alterations also make the monsters stronger[87]. With the real world and world of grimoires being considered the same or "equal"[88], compared to the like of Brauner's painting worlds that are quantum multi-layered spaces requiring understandings of theories such as "Curse Amplification"[89]), Law Manipulation (Creatures of Chaos can alter grimoires, which do not adhere to the laws of reality[90]), Power Modification (Creatures of the night alterations of the Grimoire can greatly limit the powers of those far stronger than them, such as Jonathan Morris' power being limited due to the alterations[91]. The Chaos of the Grimoire destabilized the magic of the others[92]).

Resistance to Ice Manipulation & Absolute Zero (All enemies in Castlevania III: Dracula's curse can eventually break out of being frozen from Sypha's ice magic[93]. Along with this to protect against ice attacks in series, one normally wears rings that help them resist against absolute zero[94]), Time Manipulation (1-T; All immortal beings disrupt the flow of time according to Aeon[95], with their souls being completely free from time[96]. With time in Castlevania being so potent that not even eternity can withstand time[97], along with even artificial life being subject to the laws of time[98]. Some creatures of chaos are immune to time stop, normally being boss-level creatures[99]), Fate Manipulation (Temporal Fate; All immortal beings disrupt the flow of time according to Aeon[100], with their souls being completely free from time[101], with fate being a truth wound by time[102])

Equipment

  • Castle A & B: Castle A & B serve as essentially Maxim Kischine's Castlevania, where his magic flows throughout both castles.
  • Eye of Vlad: This is Count Dracula’s eye, which, when held, prevents the holder from being inflicted with curses.
  • Heart of Vlad: This is Count Dracula’s heart, which, when held, prevents the holder from being petrified.
  • Rib of Vlad: This is Count Dracula’s rib bone, which, when held, prevents the holder from being poisoned.
  • Nail of Vlad: This is Count Dracula’s nail, which, when held, increases the holder’s strength.
  • Fang of Vlad: This is Count Dracula’s fang, which, when held, increases the holder’s defence.
  • Ring of Vlad: This is Count Dracula’s ring, which, when held, increases the holder’s luck.

Notable Techniques

  • Blood Draining: Vampires can bite and drink the blood of their victims. Blood acts as a source of energy and life for vampires and creatures of the night, an example of this being Red Skeletons who endlessly[535] regenerate[536], from any kind[537] of damage due to it absorbing blood[538].
  • Transformation: Vampires are able to turn into bats, wolves, fog, and other sorts of creatures as they please.
  • Super Strength: Vampires are incredibly superhumanly strong, even for the average creature of the night, being noted to be stronger than even Werewolves.
  • Super Speed: Vampires can move incredibly fast, to where all of them leave behind light projections due to how fast they're moving, while they can control their speeds even to approach speeds such as sound. They are normally beyond even other creatures in the castle such as the White Demon who moves at the speed of light at top speed.

Other

Standard Tactics: Much like regular Dracula, Dracula's Wraith does not directly fight the opponent, instead having enemies and the Castle fight them. If the person survives all of these, then Dracula's wraith opens his cape and releases three-directional fireballs. He will then expel seven flaming spheres as his second attack. If defeated in his first form, he will enter his second form, a giant amalgamated version of all of Dracula's remains, where he has a long and extendible tentacle, and will shoot a large energy beam out of his eye. He will also stop for a moment and perform a luning-downward swipe.

Weaknesses

Note

Trivia

  • Dracula Wraith's Japanese voice actor, Takuo Kawamura, performed four characters in Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance: Maxim Kischine, the Merchant, Death, and the Dracula Wraith.
  • When correctly starting a Hard Mode game, the Dracula Wraith's attack phrase is spoken upon confirming.
  • Despite the Dracula Wraith using the six relics Juste Belmont obtained to form its body, Juste still has access to them all in the Relic screen during both battles.

Several hundred years have passed with battles with the [dark lord] Dracula.
When suddenly, an end to it all has been foretold. 1999----- Thanks to the power of a clan in Japan, Dracula’s castle was sealed inside a [solar eclipse] to disappear forever.
However, in this world, there is no such thing as forever. [They] had understood that Dracula’s regeneration cycle ought to have ended. Indeed, people have prepared for this but will it still exist? The castle is the symbol of the chaos within humans and as long as people exist, it will not be completely sealed.

KI: You should ask, why do they eat it! I've thought about this stuff.
I've actually thought about the candles. The candles are people's souls that were taken by Death or by the vampires. In Japan there are candles that represent life. So, when you release the souls from the candles by whipping them, they give you a "thank you" present. Thank-you hearts, or thank-you holy water.
The meat, I have no idea.

Those were the emotionless words of Death.
In response, Olrox laughed his bold answer.
“As I’ve said, I would equally gain control over the human world and the source of Dracula’s power, chaos. I do not intend to obey someone else’s mind aside from my own. That includes you who were born out of chaos.”
    “……”
“You should be glad though to know yourself. Just by stealing power, my shameful monotonous time is over…… Even before Alucard appeared, just because I showed up and declared war on him.”
Olrox’s voice was mixed with a tinge of thin delight. He respectfully bowed to Death who completely killed his emotions.
“I would end the reincarnation cycle of this demon castle. I who understood and was spun out of the stains of chaos, swear to rob that power with my hands. Now, yield.”
With Death’s reply, an explosive murderous intent rose.
Two bronze colored scythes much larger than usual appeared; it advanced to the space in between the two men with an intention to cut off Olrox’s head.
    Kill the distance-----
    Kill the sound-----
    Just, faster, soon, die.
It can be seen that the blades have certainly caught Olrox’s neck, but----- that is only an after image and the vampire is already at Death’s back.
    “……die.”
That was said by the enemy who called on his servants.
From the surrounding space, a group of purple bats rose, passed by Olrox’s arm with the speed of a bullet, attacking Death. However, Death did not show any gesture of avoiding them. He simply faced Olrox and sprayed out numerous scythes.
The bats and scythes cancelled each other out and the entire dance hall sparkled with blood."

Akumajo Dracula: Kabuchi no Tsuisoukyoku "Ever since the Middle Ages, every 100 years, this legendary castle would rise together with its master Count Dracula ----- And whenever it happens, it is said that a clan of vampire hunters will seal it.

    “Only…… protect…… you……-----“
When he said those words he must say, the man’s soul already left his body-----becoming one of the floating spirits that wander the halls of the castle.
    However-----
    Fate did not allow it.
For those people who are involved with the demon castle, even the loneliness of death seemed half hearted-----
The man’s soul is pierced by a small scythe that flew in from somewhere. That scythe did not exist physically. It was a diabolic blade created by some magic and possessed a strong soul."
