Background
Kid Dracula is a parody character that serves as Dracula's son, being heavily likely to be Alucard. As stated in the documentation for the games he features in, Kid Dracula is 10,009 years old and described as the son of the "same Dracula from Akumajō Densetsu". He serves as the main protagonist and playable character in both Kid Dracula for the Famicom and Kid Dracula for the Game Boy.
In Castlevania Judgment, a reference is made to the Time Reaper being sent from 10,000 years in the future, which is considered a nod to Kid Dracula's established age. Garamoth's japanese translation for his Symphony of the Night description also notes he comes from 10,000 years in the future.

Can harm and fight against enemies stronger than characters who can take hits from neutron bomb[14], that have a yield range of 1-10 kilotons of TNT), Far Higher with Sheer Will (Simon claims that the Belmonts and Morrises did not defeat Dracula because of the Vampire Killer, with the reason behind heroes' capacity to fight against evil lying not in their physical strength but the noble desire to drive away evil and usher in all that is good, the desire to protect the world for all of humanity, with the courage to fight to protect others being the true essence of a hero and a Belmont's strength, with this even applying for other heroes such as Shanoa, Maria, Charlotte, and even Arikado[15]. The castle has magic energies that seal the gateway to hell[41])
Intelligence: Supergenius Intelligence (Kid Dracula is a master of magic, where magic requires one to have a deep understanding of Quantum Physics to utilize it to its fullest, requiring understandings of theories such as "Curse Amplification"[42]. Knowledge: Grandmaster level (Despite his childish nature, Kid Dracula is an incredibly skilled warrior, with it being noted that he has made it far on his journey to Garamoth without being harmed[44]. Easily conquered and defeated King Garamoth the ruler of space[45])
Powers and Techniques
Is a Creature of the Night, which gives:
Superhuman Physical Characteristics (Even the smallest creatures of the night can destroy a bridge[46], one of Dracula's bats easily destroyed a stone ground block[47]), Intimidation (Creatures of the nights appearances can cause one to have their body's cells cry out in terror[48]), Immortality (Ageless; The biggest hindrance to humans when attempting to accomplish something is their limited lifespans, a limitation that cannot be overcome, however, dwellers of the darkness do not apply to the laws of the human world, ignoring such limitations[49]. Immortal Metaphysical Aspect; Creatures of the Night can continue to exist even as a spirit and use their spirit form to form bodies out of inanimate material around them[50]), Acausality (Causality Immunity; All immortal beings disrupt the flow of time according to Aeon[51]. With their souls being completely free from time[52]. The biggest hindrance to humans when attempting to accomplish something is their limited lifespans, a limitation that cannot be overcome, however, dwellers of the darkness do not apply to the laws of the human world, ignoring such limitations[53]), Free Will (Creatures of the Night do not follow the hand of God and instead choose of their own free will[54]), Empowerment (Creatures of the night are empowered by the night[55], becoming stronger when it's night time[56]), Evolution (Creatures of chaos can inherit evil natures[57] awakening into stronger enemies with new abilities and less weaknesses[58]), Resurrection (Self-Resurrection; Creatures of chaos can be brought back to life from the power of hate[59]. This has also been shown with slain heads reviving as an angry wraith[60]), Regeneration (Mid-Godly overtime; Even the castle from Castlevania is a Creature of Chaos[61], where they are always rebirth from Chaos with each rebirth, the creatures takes a new form[62], with this state being referred to as a "regeneration cycle"[63]), Invisibility (Creatures of Chaos possess a natural aura of darkness, which makes one unable to see those with an aura of darkness by the naked eye[64]), Time Manipulation (Passive; All immortal beings disrupt the flow of time according to Aeon[65]), Darkness Manipulation & Subjective Reality (Creatures of chaos very existence causes dark powers to flow beyond the control of the Elgos' grimoires, due to them collecting documented information on Dracula and his castle. Causing their power to materialize in the real world in the form of monsters[66]. With the real world and world of grimoires being one and the same[67], compared to the like of Brauner's painting worlds that are quantum multi-layered spaces requiring understandings of theories such as "Curse Amplification"[68]), Text Manipulation & Plot Manipulation (Passive; Creatures of the night's dark powers allowed them to rewrite the Grimoires to strengthen their dark powers greatly[69]. It is noted by Lucy that the "vital soul" of a monster is the cause of the grimoire chaos[70]. Their vital souls are causing the grimoires contents to be overwritten changing history to things such as Jonathan Morris is now at a disadvantage in battle[71], or Charlotte fading from existence due to them messing with the history of the Grimoires[72], Maria starting to fade because Richter's history is being rewritten[73], where if the contents of the book change the creatures magic will keep growing and eventually overflow into reality, causing the grimoire to fall into chaos and even more monsters materializing into the real world[74]. The text alterations also make the monsters stronger[75]. With the real world and world of grimoires being one and the same[76], compared to the like of Brauner's painting worlds that are quantum multi-layered spaces requiring understandings of theories such as "Curse Amplification"[77]), Law Manipulation (Creatures of Chaos can alter grimoires, which do not adhere to the laws of reality[78]), Power Modification (Creatures of the night alterations of the Grimoire can greatly limit the powers of those far stronger than them, such as Jonathan Morris' power being limited due to the alterations[79]. The Chaos of the Grimoire destabilized the magic of the others[80]).
Is a Vampire, which gives:
Superhuman Physical Characteristics (Vampires are considered far larger threats than standard creature of the night monsters[91]), Stealth Mastery (Vampires are able to attack stealthily in search of human blood[92]), Disguise Mastery (Vampires will sometimes disguise themselves[93] as villages in order to get near one[94]), Immortality (Ageless; Vampires defy God's decree that life should be limited, and exist for eternity[95], with Mathias noting he has eternal life[96]. Aeon notes that vampires exist for eternity[97]. Walter is noted to be a vampire that has eternal life[98]. The biggest hindrance to humans when attempting to accomplish something is their limited lifespans, a limitation that cannot be overcome, however, dwellers of the darkness do not apply to the laws of the human world, ignoring such limitations[99]. Immortal Metaphysical Aspect; Vampires will someday come back to life despite them being killed due to being immortal[100]), Acausality (Causality Immunity; All immortal beings disrupt the flow of time according to Aeon[101]. With their souls being completely free from time[102]. The biggest hindrance to humans when attempting to accomplish something is their limited lifespans, a limitation that cannot be overcome, however, dwellers of the darkness do not apply to the laws of the human world, ignoring such limitations[103]), Free Will (Vampires do not follow the hand of God and instead choose of their own free will[104], defying God's decree[105]), Enhanced Senses (Vampires can smell that Reinhardt Schneider and Carrie Fernandez smell different from the usual adventurer[106]), Surface Scaling (Vampires can stand on ceilings[107]), Flight (Vampires can either naturally levitate grow wings to fly[108], turn into a bat[109], or into mist[110]), Immersion (Vampires can infuse magic into paintings to increase their power[111]), Empowerment (Vampires are loved by the night, making them so powerful that vampires like Walter Bernhard never been defeated before Leon Belmont gained the vampire killer[112]. Noted by Leon that the night should help Joachim Armster as well due to him being a vampire, with the only reason it doesn't is due to Walter holding the ebony stone[113]), Resurrection (Even if one somehow manages to kill a vampire, they will someday come back to life despite them being killed due to being immortal[114]), Transformation (Shapeshifting; Vampires can assume the shape of a wolf, a bat or fog[115]. Vampires can disguise themselves as huamns[116]), Teleportation (Vampires possess the ability to teleport freely[117]. Even non-threatening vampires such as Rosa, fade out from view[118]), Power Suppression (Vampires can submerge their own vampiric powers if needed[119]), Life-Force Absorption (Vampires can consume one's lifeforce[120], allowing them to heal themselves through biting into a victim[121]), Vampirification (Vampires can turn others into vampires[122], Walter turned Rinaldo's daughter into a vampire[123]), Invisibility (Vampires possess natural aura of darkness, which makes one unable to see those with an aura of darkness by the naked eye[124]), Time Manipulation (Passive; All immortal beings disrupt the flow of time according to Aeon[125]), Animal Manipulation (Bats serve under the control of vampires[126], being freely spawnned by any vampire[127]), Cloth Manipulation (A vampire's blood can transform clothes, such as Hector combining a vampire's blood with a prince's clothes to get Dracula's clothes[128]), Electricity Manipulation (Vampires can sometimes have electricity form around them as they transform[129]), Soul Manipulation (The candles in Castlevania are people's souls that were taken by Death or by vampires[130]), Text Manipulation & Plot Manipulation (Passive; Vampire's dark powers allowed them to rewrite the Grimoires to strengthen their dark powers greatly[131]. It is noted by Lucy that the "vital soul" of a monster is the cause of the grimoire chaos[132]. Their vital souls are causing the grimoires contents to be overwritten changing history to things such as Jonathan Morris is now at a disadvantage in battle[133], or Charlotte fading from existence due to them messing with the history of the Grimoires[134], Maria starting to fade because Richter's history is being rewritten[135], where if the contents of the book change the creatures magic will keep growing and eventually overflow into reality, causing the grimoire to fall into chaos and even more monsters materializing into the real world[136]. The text alterations also make the monsters stronger[137]. With the real world and world of grimoires being one and the same[138], compared to the like of Brauner's painting worlds that are quantum multi-layered spaces requiring understandings of theories such as "Curse Amplification"[139]), Law Manipulation (Vampires can alter grimoires, which do not adhere to the laws of reality[140]), Power Modification (Vampire's alterations of the Grimoire can greatly limit the powers of those far stronger than them, such as Jonathan Morris' power being limited due to the alterations[141]. The Chaos of the Grimoire destabilized the magic of the others[142]).
Resistance to Exterme Colds (Can sit out and move around in the icy cold environemnts[174]), Extreme Heats (Can sit out and move around in the hot desert with all his clothes on just fine[175])
Escape Prevention (Upon entering the forest Leon, Rinaldo noted that Walter made it so Leon could not leave[286]), Darkness Manipulation (Due to the Ebony Stone[287], his demonic power allows him to make it eternally night in the forest under his control[288]), Energy Absorption (Walter can get hearts out of objects and enemies, where hearts are a measure of one's stored energy, thus one is absorbing energy when gaining hearts[289]), Domination (Walter has demons under his control[290]), Sealing (Walter sealed away the Forgotten One due to an enormous uncontrollable power it had[291]), Blessed (Noted that Walter is beloved by the eternal night[292]), Teleportation (Teleported Sara to his side[293]), Electricity Manipulation (Walter uses electricity to appear before Leon[294]), Telekinesis (Telekinetically returned Sara to Leon[295]), Sleep Manipulation (Walter can put one to sleep[296]), Invulnerability (Metaphysical Invulnerability) & Forcefield Manipulation (Passive; Walter is completely immune to attacks from Leon[297]), Light Manipulation & Teleportation (Can create pillars of light that he teleports around[298]), Energy Projection (Can shoot out energy projectiles[299]), Homing Attack (Walter can shoot out energy projectiles that home in on the target[300]), Explosion Manipulation (Can shoot out orbs that explode on impact[301]. With Demonic Megiddo, can release a massive blast of energy that explodes outwards[302]), Transformation (Transformative Arsenal; When using Demonic Megiddo, Water transforms into his stronger demon form[303]), Fire Manipulation (Conjures multiple pillars of fire underneath the target[304])
Resistance to Extreme Heats (Unaffected by moving so fast he catches on fire[547]), Extrasensory Perception (Dark Lords are incapable of being sensed by the likes of Death[548]), Attack Reflection (His reincarnation can attack and harm Graham Jones, where he's absorbed the power of the castle, and inherited Dracula's powers[549], where Dracula's mere rib bone reflects all projectiles back[550]), Darkness Manipulation & Hell Manipulation (Dracula has a natural resistance to the darkness element[551]. Dracula's mere ribs protects from the powers of wickedness[552]), Holy Fire Manipulation (Can take holy water hitting him, with it only momentarily having him cry out in pain, before emerging just fine[553]), Curse Manipulation (Dracula's mere heart clears curses[554]), Time Manipulation (Noted that the stop watch has no effect on moving platforms in the castle and most bosses[555]. With time in Castlevania being so potent that not even eternity can withstand time[556], along with even artificial life being subject to the laws of time[557]), Sealing (Dracula's power allowed Soma to easily repel away a multi-layered seal called aurora a multilayered rectangular barrier ritual that was supposed to isolate Soma and then remove Dracula's powers from him[558]. Even while greatly weakened, when the Aurora was used on Dracula, he greatly resisted it, requiring two master magicians to affect him[559]. Dracula's power is so great that very few magical items can truly hold his magic within a seal, requiring the usage of an entire library worth of grimoires in order to truly seal away just his magic alone[560]. The only reason Brauner was able to seal away Dracula was due to him not reviving completely otherwise his seals would be easily broken by Dracula's power[561]), Fire Manipulation (Dracula is naturally strongly resistant to fire based attacks[562]), Electricity Manipulation (Dracula is naturally strongly resistant to thunder based attacks[563]), Poison Manipulation (Dracula is naturally immune to poison based attacks[564]), Spatial Manipulation (Brauner using Dracula's power spatially segregated Dracula from the castle[565]), Power Modification, Information Manipulation, Text Manipulation & Plot Manipulation (Dracula's magic and powers have no limits posed on it from the grimoires where heroes summoned from the catalogue are unable to stray too far from its contents and have limited actions they can do having summoned heroes have their powers greatly limited from their true strength[566]), Fate Manipulation & Death Manipulation (Death serves Dracula with unfailing loyalty[567], where Death is noted to govern the fate of death[568], being noted to have the power to govern the end of all living things[569], and can use his scythes to kill abstractions such as distance and sound[570]. Death decides who lives and who dies[571]), Immortality Negation (The Vampire Killer is unable to strip Dracula of his immortality whereas the Vampire Killer can render immortal skeleton death gods like Death, mortal, having him bleed from attacks, giving him mortality as shown when Death dies to his own scythe cutting off his head and having blood spurt out, something not possible as a skeleton[572], and can kill Death to the point that he requires Mathias to survive in order for him to rise from the dead[573])
Resistance to Time Stop (Areas in the Castle are unaffected by time being stopped, and blocks and objects will still fall[665]. Noted that the stop watch has no effect on moving platforms in the castle[666]. Christopher stopping time on an elevator does not stop the elevator from moving[667], machinery still moves along[668], and floating objects still float[669]. With time in Castlevania being so potent that not even eternity can withstand time[670], along with even artificial life being subject to the laws of time[671])
Equipment
- Cape: A cape that is a hand-me-down from his papa.
- Bat Attack Force: A group of three bats that were initially on Garamoth's side but returned to Kid Dracula's side.
Notable Techniques
Standard Vampire Abilities
- Blood Draining: Vampires can bite and drink the blood of their victims. Blood acts as a source of energy and life for vampires and creatures of the night, an example of this being Red Skeletons who endlessly[674] regenerate[675], from any kind[676] of damage due to it absorbing blood[677].
- Transformation: Vampires are able to turn into bats, wolves, fog, and other sorts of creatures as they please.
- Super Strength: Vampires are incredibly superhumanly strong, even for the average creature of the night, being noted to be stronger than even Werewolves.
- Super Speed: Vampires can move incredibly fast, to where all of them leave behind light projections due to how fast they're moving, while they can control their speeds even to approach speeds such as sound. They are normally beyond even other creatures in the castle such as the White Demon who moves at the speed of light at top speed.
Magic Bullet
Kid Dracula's primary attack involves hurling a fireball directly ahead from his hand. This spell can be charged to unleash a larger and more potent fireball, which causes defeated enemies to drop Coins. These Coins can be used to play minigames and earn extra lives between levels. This spell appears to be a simpler form of Hellfire.
Homing Attack
Kid Dracula casts five fireball-like projectiles that spread out initially before homing in on their targets.
Giant Bat Bomb
Kid Dracula launches a medium-sized projectile that travels straight ahead and can also be used to destroy walls.
Bat Form
By transforming into a bat, Kid Dracula gains the ability to fly freely through the air for a limited time.
Ice Ball
Kid Dracula hurls an ice ball that freezes enemies and halts projectiles upon contact.
Upside Down
This ability allows Kid Dracula to invert gravity, enabling him to walk upside down on ceilings. It is considered a precursor to the High Jump ability.
Bat Attack
Kid Dracula summons three bats that fly a short distance forward, then rise in an arc and return to him.
Bat Umbrella
Using an umbrella as a shield, Kid Dracula can block enemy projectiles. By adjusting its position, he can block projectiles from both high and low angles.
Free Flight
In the Parodius games, both Dracula-kun and Kid-D can fly freely in their humanoid forms without any time or movement restrictions.
Other
Standard Tactics: Kid Dracula uses his magic spells in combat, normally using the one that best suits the situation. His most prominent one being him shooting out fireballs.
Weaknesses
- Creature of the Night Weaknesses: Creatures of the night become weaker when exposed to the morning sun[678]. Garlic significantly weakens creatures of the night[679], and causes demons to die if its placed on the ground[680]. If a vital soul is defeated, the grimoire will revert back to its original content[681].
- Standard Vampire Weaknesses: After a vampire is sufficiently weakened, the sunlight can kill them[682]. Otherwise Vampires can stand out in the sunlight just fine[683]. Though some weaker vampires can have the sun burn them overtime, killing them[684]. Oak Stakes are able to break through the magic of a weakened vampire[685]. Defeating a vampire will stop the effects of someone they have bitten, but only before they've turned[686]. This is shown in Harmony of Dissonance where through Juste killing Dracula's Wraith, the bite marks on Lydie have vanished[687]. Vampires reflections do not appear on mirrors, making them easier to identify[688]. Vampires are noted to be weak during the dawn[689].
- Magic Weaknesses: Summoning items and weapons inscribed in grimoires takes a lot of magic[690].
- Unique Weaknesses: Kid Dracula has a tendency to forget some of the magic spells he learned, requiring him to re-learn them[691]. Kid Dracula's ears have hearing is 1000x better than a human, this also means that loud noises are also a weakness.
Note
- While Kid Dracula is pretty much just Alucard, where it's noted "He and Alucard couldn't be the same person... could they?"[692]. However, to keep in spirit with the Anniversary Collection's playful mystery of it, the pages are made to be different pages.
- Kid Dracula is a game in the main timeline, in one of the most recently created timelines it is added apart of the timeline[693].
- Contrary to popular belief, holy attacks and the whips in Castlevania can affect and harm people that aren't apart of the creatures of the night. Leon's doppelganger can use holy water and holy attacks against him in this fight along with the alchemy whip despite Leon being a pure and noble warrior[694]. Simon's doppelganger can harm him with the vampire killer, despite Simon being a noble hero. Holy Water even works and harms enemies such as the "Holy Armor"[695], a knight who has natural holy powers[696]. Corrupted enemies such as Charlie Vincent, use holy water attacks on Carrie and Reinhardt[697].
- While vampires have some weakness to sunlight and can burn overtime in them[698], higher tier vampires[699], can stand out in the sunlight just fine[700] without being weakened. It should also be noted even with Dhamphir's like Alucard, in original lore, he was considered a full vampire yet could stand out in the sunlight perfectly fine.

Several hundred years have passed with battles with the [dark lord] Dracula.
When suddenly, an end to it all has been foretold. 1999----- Thanks to the power of a clan in Japan, Dracula’s castle was sealed inside a [solar eclipse] to disappear forever.
However, in this world, there is no such thing as forever. [They] had understood that Dracula’s regeneration cycle ought to have ended. Indeed, people have prepared for this but will it still exist? The castle is the symbol of the chaos within humans and as long as people exist, it will not be completely sealed. - ↑ Castlevania: Lament of Innocence Bestiary No. 064

- ↑ WN: Last question. Why does Dracula keep putting meat inside the walls of his castle?
KI: You should ask, why do they eat it! I've thought about this stuff.
I've actually thought about the candles. The candles are people's souls that were taken by Death or by the vampires. In Japan there are candles that represent life. So, when you release the souls from the candles by whipping them, they give you a "thank you" present. Thank-you hearts, or thank-you holy water.
The meat, I have no idea. - ↑ Castlevania: Grimoire of Souls Prologue Stage 4

“…… If so, why did you take power away from the crack in the eclipse’s seal? If you just intend to imitate like a monkey, isn’t your own power enough?”
Those were the emotionless words of Death.
In response, Olrox laughed his bold answer.
“As I’ve said, I would equally gain control over the human world and the source of Dracula’s power, chaos. I do not intend to obey someone else’s mind aside from my own. That includes you who were born out of chaos.”
“……”
“You should be glad though to know yourself. Just by stealing power, my shameful monotonous time is over…… Even before Alucard appeared, just because I showed up and declared war on him.”
Olrox’s voice was mixed with a tinge of thin delight. He respectfully bowed to Death who completely killed his emotions.
“I would end the reincarnation cycle of this demon castle. I who understood and was spun out of the stains of chaos, swear to rob that power with my hands. Now, yield.”
With Death’s reply, an explosive murderous intent rose.
Two bronze colored scythes much larger than usual appeared; it advanced to the space in between the two men with an intention to cut off Olrox’s head.
Kill the distance-----
Kill the sound-----
Just, faster, soon, die.
It can be seen that the blades have certainly caught Olrox’s neck, but----- that is only an after image and the vampire is already at Death’s back.
“……die.”
That was said by the enemy who called on his servants.
From the surrounding space, a group of purple bats rose, passed by Olrox’s arm with the speed of a bullet, attacking Death. However, Death did not show any gesture of avoiding them. He simply faced Olrox and sprayed out numerous scythes.
The bats and scythes cancelled each other out and the entire dance hall sparkled with blood." - ↑ Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse

Even though it is still far away, their bodies seemed to squeal [run away].
There was definitely no room for doubt. It is certain that the [castle] exists at the back of the mountains. The church’s greatest vampire hunter, Julius Belmont must be contacted. However, the conversation jumped into the matter of the disappearance of several village children." - ↑ Akumajo Dracula: Kabuchi no Tsuisoukyoku "A drawbridge suspended from the main gate is seemingly welcoming Michelle’s arrival.

That really is no doubt an obsession.
The youth had more than 28 holes penetrating his limbs and body. His heart is already starting to fail and he is desperately trying to say something amidst the darkness.
“Only…… protect…… you……-----“
When he said those words he must say, the man’s soul already left his body-----becoming one of the floating spirits that wander the halls of the castle.
However-----
Fate did not allow it.
For those people who are involved with the demon castle, even the loneliness of death seemed half hearted-----
The man’s soul is pierced by a small scythe that flew in from somewhere. That scythe did not exist physically. It was a diabolic blade created by some magic and possessed a strong soul." - ↑ Castlevania: Curse of Darkness Bestiary No. 115

- ↑ Akumajo Dracula: Kabuchi no Tsuisoukyoku Novel “I had said it before. I do not intend to bind the world with chaos.”
The bats and scythes cancelled each other out and the entire dance hall sparkled with blood." - ↑ Castlevania Judgment Death True Story Mode

It was a diabolic blade created by some magic and possessed a strong soul." - ↑ Haunted Castle Revisited Dominus Collection
